According to national association of realtors, more than 90% of home buyers make use of the internet one way or the other in their home buying journey.

Now, most of those internet buyers started out with a real estate related searches on search engine.

That means search engines are the biggest referer of prospective real estate buyers and sellers to real estate websites.

There is only two ways in which your website can make it to search engine result front page. You either earn it (SEO) or you pay for it (PPC)

What is PPC?

Pay per click (PPC) is a way to put your website in front of millions of people searching for your services in Google by paying for it.

In other way, it is called paid advertising on Google result page which will give you instant result

Seo is the process of optimizing your website and building relevant backlinks so that over time you will gradually rank in first page of Google.

Seo requires time and patience to gradually climb the search engine result page (serp) ladder

Like I said, PPC will give you instant result which makes it ideal for new real estate websites trying to build their brand and generate leads.

That means for every visitor referred to you by PPC you are paying $5 to Google and for 1000 visitors you will pay $5000 to Google.

With SEO, with $2,500 you can hit the first page of Google over three to six months period.

Another area is that PPC cost remains constant while SEO cost reduces significantly once you hit the first page.

PPC should be implemented if you don’t have much search engine exposure or traffic.

But real estate SEO is a most for every agent to implement irrespective of your level in real estate marketing.
